Vineyard care

The research for a quality product begins in the vineyard with an attentive and sustainable care. Most of the vineyard work is made by hand.

Small production

A small production means attention to details. We want our wine to fully embody the uniqueness of the grapes of the Val Borbera territory.

Technique

Our Timorasso is produced with state-of-the-art winemaking techniques: soft pressing, slow fermentation at controlled temperature, a long refinement process in steel containers on fine lees and planned batonnage.

Timorasso

Timorasso is a white grape variety native to the province of Alessandria. Today it is primarily grown in Val Borbera, Spinti, Curone, Grue and Ossona

The wine we produce from Timorasso has a medium straw-yellow color that evolves towards gold. The wine features a mineral and citrus aroma, with a great complexity and a characteristic acid note in the mouth.
These particular characteristics make this wine unique and give it a great aging potential. Moreover, the wine has a dry, fresh, balanced and structured flavor even after many years from bottling.

Timorasso belongs to the last generation of Piedmont’s white wines, as this grape variety was recently recovered.

Why choosing Timorasso?

Because a glass of our Timorasso incarnates its territory, history and courage. Our wine is the expression of a territory with a strong identity: the Val Borbera. We want Italy and the whole world to get to know this territory through our wine.
